VIRGIL "TED" THEUS

Bio: Ted Theus is certified in General Civil Mediation by the State of Georgia.  Ted graduated from law school at the University of Georgia in 1990 and has practiced law in Columbus, Georgia for the past 30 years.   Ted was a partner in the Columbus law firm of Page, Scrantom, Spouse, Tucker & Ford for 12 years before electing to open his own practice in 2010.  Ted’s practice has focused on representing plaintiffs and defendants in civil matters, and he has, as solo or lead counsel, settled or tried in excess of 1,000 civil lawsuits in Muscogee and the surrounding counties.  While the majority of the matters handled by Ted have involved personal injury, he also has extensive experience in handling insurance coverage cases, probate matters, condemnation disputes, contract litigation, education law cases and worker’s compensation claims on behalf of both injured parties and employers.   Ted has been selected to serve as a Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Georgia in the past. 

Hourly fee: $275 (two hour minimum) $150 administrative fee
