MICHAEL D SMITH

Bio:  Mr. Smith began practicing law with Page, Scrantom in 1985 and continued with that firm for 14 years.  His practice was general civil litigation including personal injury, insurance defense, commercial litigation and creditor’s rights/bankruptcy litigation.  He left  Page, Scrantom in Jan. 1988 to join the General Counsel’s Office of Synovus Financial Corp. as Deputy General Counsel.  At Synovus he was in charge of managing all of Synovus’ litigation its commercial and consumer forms library, credit card issues, contract negotiation and regulatory compliance.  He left Synovus and opened his own law office here in Columbus in February, 2015.  His practice is focused upon general civil and commercial litigation, consumer bankruptcy, mediation and arbitration.

Hourly fee:  $300.00
